Welcome to the 2009 season! I had to kick my 2009 off with a return to one of my favorite target practice courses, French Camp Golf Course in French Camp, CA. The course is a short mostly par 3 with a few par 4’s course that is a bargain and a great place to shake the rust off.
What I like about the course is that it has well maintained greens and some testy par 3’s that can really help you with your mid to short iron practice. I never really keep score when I play FC, and yes there are many mulligans that come with a true practice round. Well this is one of those courses to do that with your head held high because you are not going to be holding anyone up. I hit the links on a Sunday at 2pm and it felt like I had the place to myself.
So if you are in the Stockton area and looking for a great little course to get back into the swing of things I highly recommend French Camp Golf Course.
