My last review, was a comparison between the Titleist NXT Tour and NXT Tour S, and as you might know, I really didn’t like the NXT Tour as much as I thought I would. I bring it up because I feel like Taylormade got it right with the new Project (a). The Project (a), has gotten softer, hotter, and has less side spin than I remember. It is the promise of the distance from the NXT Tour but with very good spin on approach shots. I really like this ball with the driver, good compression, and it feels great. Did I mention long? This ball is as long as any of the balls I have played in this category, and seems to work well with all the clubs in the bag.

For me the true three piece construction, and softer core, make these a great ball for players of most levels. The cover is durable as well, so I say on balance, I really like these. Taylormade is on the right track with the Project (a) for 2016.
